Port Talbot supermarket worker Wendy Dykes suffered life changing injuries after a chemical accident at work but was then forced to endure a two year legal battle to secure disability benefits which were rightfully hers.
Thankfully, with the support of my Aberavon team, she won a vital victory but the UK Government must ensure that everyone who’s entitled to Personal Independence Payments is treated fairly, and with basic human decency.
