Electric Arc Furnaces do *not* make virgin steel, and therefore the UK Government’s new deal will fail on:
❌Making the steel Britain needs
❌Delivering for Tata’s current order book
❌Seizing the future
The UK Government should have invested in hydrogen years ago, like European competitors.
