It was great to speak to steelworkers here in Port Talbot today with Labour’s shadow Business Secretary Jonathan Reynolds MP and colleagues David Rees MS and Julie James MS.
It is clear feelings are running high at the prospect of huge job losses which are reported to be included as part of the Tory Government’s deal with Tata Steel.
Steelworkers support decarbonising the works, but not at the expense of vital local jobs.
