It was an honour and a privilege to take part in today’s Remembrance Day parade and wreath laying ceremony at Talbot Memorial Park in Port Talbot.

Each year, we gather as a community to pay our respects to the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service of our country. Their courage, duty, and selflessness have safeguarded the freedoms we cherish today.

Standing alongside veterans, serving personnel, community representatives, and local residents was a powerful reminder of the strength of our shared history, and of the importance of never forgetting those who gave everything for us.

As we reflect on their sacrifice, we also renew our commitment to peace, unity, and compassion in our own time.
