I was pleased to visit Port Talbot Jobcentre Plus this week to learn more about the fantastic support available to people looking to enter or return to work.
During my visit, I met with staff at the Youth Hub, which provides tailored advice and guidance to help young people take their first steps towards employment, training, and further opportunities.
I also had the opportunity to meet with Cyfle Cymru during one of their drop-in sessions. Cyfle Cymru does vital work supporting young people who are not currently in education, employment or training, as well as those who have been out of the workplace for a long time or have never had the chance to enter it. Their personalised support helps people build confidence, develop skills, and move closer to sustainable employment.
It’s encouraging to see organisations working together to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to fulfil their potential and access the support they need to succeed.
