It was good to visit the steelworks and see the progress being made on the electric arc furnace.
There is still a long way to go, but work is set to ramp up over the spring and summer.
There is lots done but lots still to do!
At the height of the work, there will be 500 contractors which will be mostly local, 1,800 people employed, 90% of which will be local to the Swansea Bay area and there are already 210 staff members from the heavy end have already moved across to the EAF.
