It was great to visit Corryn Biotechnologies at the Bay Technology Centre in Baglan last week.

This innovative Welsh company is redefining wound care with its Advanced Tissue Repair Platform – a contactless, point-of-care solution for dressing chronic and complex wounds. Using cutting-edge electrospinning technology, Corryn creates ultra-fine, breathable fibres that mimic natural tissue, helping wounds heal faster and with less pain.

It was fascinating to see the labs in action and learn how their materials aim to improve outcomes for patients and carers alike.

Backed by Transition Board and UKSPF funding, it’s great to see how public investment is driving forward innovation right here in Wales.
